public launch of climatearchive.org
Yesterday, I introduced climatearchive.org with the tweet at the bottom.
I was very happy to see how quickly the launch got traction on Twitter, even though this was my very first tweet ever. A lot of great feedback and ideas in the comments and more than enough support to continue the development. It definetely seems to resonate with people, both from science AND tech communities.
First version of https://t.co/ySisOBCdZd is now online! The app allows interactive access to more than 100 model simulations covering the climate history of the last 540 million years! It uses a WebGL renderer (@threejs) to visualize climate data in 3D in your browser. pic.twitter.com/iNja60BqHt
